The day was started with a great bang in the morning with Janet Switzer.

Despite her busy schedule, i did manage to grab a picture with her.

Once I passed my name card to her, she has great comment on Zeros to Heros and started to share a great story on how someone got a corporate sponsorship/grant of USD 500,000 to start sharing on how to improve the self-esteem of the secondary school children. It is like a WOW to me.

I guess I am going to search for a grant where it will pay me to go around to share about the Entrepreneurship Spirits in all University & Colleges around Malaysia.

Following that, of course is the day that I’ve been waiting for to see my Heroes, Stephen Pierce to come on stage and once again to inspire more people to venture into Internet Marketing. He is a real deal. If you have signed up for his program before I am very sure you have the same agreement too.

Apart from the Internet Marketing System that I’ve learned from Stephen, I guess the most valuable lesson that I’ve learned so far is this phrase “It’s not just WHAT you do, it’s HOW & WHERE you do it”.

After lunch, we have another great speaker - Adam Ginsberg. He has established several successful stores on eBay and he has personally sold over $20,000,000 on eBay in the last 3 years. Not just a “technology marketing wizard” Adam is an exceptional speaker and trainer.

He presents practical step by step formulas which are easy to follow and implement and his casual yet informative style draws significantly from his own inspirational success story.

Adam is also featured in Entrepreneur and Fortune Magazines, interviewed on NBC - The Today Show, CNBC with David Faber and ABC World News Tonight with Peter Jennings. He is definitely the guy to meet up with.

Just got home from Global Internet Summit.

Global Internet Summit is a 3 day Internet Marketing Event that’s going to bring the Evolution of the Internet Wealth over in MCA, Kuala Lumpur. The featured speakers are:

I missed the first session by Mark Vurnum. Heard from the rest of the participants that he is covering quite a few interesting strategies to generate traffics and is able to rank NO. 1 in Google in less than 3-5 hours. Wow! The moment i heard about it, it was too late … anyway, i have grabbed the opportunity to have a picture with him …

Then after that, i went to check out his profile, to my amazed, Mark quit his job in 2004 with over USD $180.000 in debts and set out to make a business work on the internet. He has spent the last two years to develop a successful system that produces him a consistent monthly income using a few simple tools. After arriving at his “Secret Method” of selling leads to other companies - he paid off all his debts and still had more than enough profits left over to take numerous holidays.

He is definitely the next one in my list that i want to keep in touch with. I have approached him to do an interview session and he said “Why Not?” … huh, thats Interesting! Will keep you informed once the interview is ready.

As you could see from the above, i was actually wearing Stephen Pierce’s Crew T-Shirt with Zeros to Heros sticker on my right hand and a Global Entrepreneurship Week Badge.In fact i was not really comfortable as everyone thought I was one of the crew from Success Resources, the Largest Seminar Organizer in Asia.

Thought i was able to bump into Stephen but just got to know he is only speaking tomorrow. Guess what, it’s isn’t that bad as i was able to bump into Kelvin Yuen, SMSP member. Feel more comfortable after that. I am going to wear this again and take a nice picture with Stephen tomorrow.

After lunch, we have Mark Joyner, the Godfather of Internet Marketing. During his talk, someone asked him if he is now retired? He is very firmly he is not going to retire but he does not work for money anymore (yeah of course he is still working his way to earn lots more money but he is no longer doing it just to make money but to contribute a lot more to the society). This is the kind of attitude that everyone of us need to have.

In fact, I met Mark these few years for some Internet Marketing seminars and i don’t really appreciate what he said on stage. To be really frank, i don’t even understand what he is trying to tell us. Instead of showing us the direct and down to earth hands-on stuff on Internet Marketing, his teachings to me is really deep. I could somehow or rather fall asleep when he talked 2 years ago. But now, once i have grabbed the fundamental basics on Internet Marketing and starting to focus on higher level, i found that Mark Joyner is the guy to go. I believe that many are still not quite understand what Mark Joyner is trying to share with us.

His business model of Intensity - Efficiency - Regeneration really blew my mind. Will share that more at my Internet Marketing for Beginner blog.

Mark Joyner focus a lot more on our mentality preparation in the Online Business. He is basically equipping us in building a good foundation and right mindset to make money online. He was asked today - there is so much distraction when we want to start a business online and how do we actually eliminate it and also how we can turn the knowledge that we have learned into practical actions in the simplest and easiest way. Yellow Pages come Alive !

“..Wow .. that’s Interesting! ” ! That’s my expression when I heard it from Bobby Chong from Nano-AG Asia, one of the Visitor for BNI (Business Networking International) at Lighthouse Chapter this morning.

At Lighthouse Chapter, we meet every Thursday 7am at Wisma WIM, TTDI (moving to Coppers, Bangsar in December).

So what do we do ?

I don’t quite remember the exact time and details of the meeting. We will basically start with OPEN NETWORKING before the actual meeting start at 715am. The Open Networking is extremely important for members to get together and also for the members to get to know the visitors too. That’s why members and visitors are reminded to be there early by 7am. The best is if you could arrive around 645am. You will see tremendous different to kick start your day. (Haha.. some of my chapter members will probably laughing right now when they see me blogging about this as I used to arrive just on time …opps!)

Right after that we’ll move on to Introduction of BNI, Chapter report & a 5 minute inspiring education by our Network Educator, Mr. SA CHAN (to read his testimonial click here).

We will then proceed to the Sales Manager Presentation. This is really interesting ! The best part of it is each and everyone of us are given only 60 seconds to present ourselves. It is just like another live radio show. It is quite tough and the key is to capture everyone attention and to raise their interest towards your business. Don’t worry on how to do it. There will be a lot of training sessions to train us on how to do it. Not just to do it but to excel in it.

Following the 60 seconds presentation by members, visitors will then be given 20 seconds to present their business.

It will then move on to 10 minutes presentation. This is also another exciting moment that all members are waiting for. As you know 60 seconds is never enough to tell how good is our business, therefore every member will be given a chance to further promote their business. For those who are not presenting, we are always waiting anxiously to see what will be the FREE GIFT of the day. Today’s presentation is done by our brother, Mr. Ronny Siow, representing AIA General Insurance. And the SA Chan is the lucky winner for today, brought home a Canon Printer.

Finally, this is the MOST IMPORTANT part of the day! PASSING OF REFERRALS !

Everyone is there to get real solid business referrals. Since after joining BNI, there is no need for cold calling anymore. Whatever client I want, I will just tap into my BNI resources - period.

After that we will proceed for breakfast and there will be another networking/fellowship session again with all the entrepreneurs who come on that day.
