The Power of Confession

Badminton GameI was in the badminton game today and it was the last game after playing 6 games for the last 2 hours. This final game, I decided to challenge myself. All these while in my badminton team, there are 2 person that are considered very good and once if they partner together, there will be no chance for the rest to beat them.

So I decided to challenge both of them today.

One of the player laughed and asked me “Are you sure?”

Without hesitate, I replied, “Yes!”.

My partner was shocked as I dont think he believe that we can beat them.

Well, whats on my mind was “Why Not? If Not Now, When?”

I can choose to keep waiting week after week and keep saying that I am not ready. Is that going to help? So I decided to do it NOW!

I have fixed my mind that I want to WIN in this game. Despite none of the other members think that we can win, I still strongly believe that we can.

Well, to cut the story short, we finally WON the game!

How many times that in the eyes of many that you are not capable of doing a certain task? I bet most of the time, we find that it is quite tough to deal with those inferior feeling. No matter how good you are, there will be something that we are not good at and deep inside out heart we wanted so much to improve ourselves.

One of the strategy that you can use to deal with this challenge is to use the “Power of Confession”. It does not matter whether you are capable of doing it or not - you just have to keep confessing and believing that you can do it.

You might be asking “Is that so simple?” - YES! You will start to see miracles start to happen in your life the moment you start to confess those positive words and STOP focusing on the problems.

Keep your mouth SHUT if you used to say words like “I dont think I can do it”, “This is just beyond my ability”, “You can lor, I cant”, “Die lor”, “Shit” “Damn It”, “I just feel like giving up”, “I hate doing this”!

Start confessing words like “I can do it”, “This is simple”, “Interesting”, “I want to take this challenge”, “I love this task”, “Hallelujah”, “I believe I can”, “If they can do it, why not me?”, “Nothing is too difficult for me”!

Always remember “You should not be moved by feeling alone, in everything you do - Focus on the Solution instead of the Problem!”
